  • Right after business wraps up, we’ll begin pre-judging beers for Fugetaboutit!

No problem! You’re welcome to stick around, grab a pint of Tanasi’s beer, and see how the judging process works. It’s a great chance to learn more about competitions while enjoying some fellowship.

May 2025 Meeting of the Barley Mob – Five Wits Brewing Company

Join us for our May meeting at Five Wits Brewing Company!

This month, we’ll be sharing updates on the Sour Barrel project (Flanders Red aged in a Chattanooga Whiskey barrel) and discussing plans for the upcoming Chattanooga Craft Beer Festival on the 24th.

Whether you’ve been brewing for years or are just curious about getting involved, this is a great chance to connect, share ideas, and enjoy some excellent beer with fellow Mobsters.

April 2025 Meeting of the Barley Mob – Hutton & Smith Brewing

Mark your calendars—our next meeting is Tuesday, April 15th, at Hutton & Smith Brewing Co. We’ll kick things off at 6:30 PM.

This month, we’re excited to welcome member Chris McAlexander, who will give a short presentation on a soon-to-be-announced topic. We will also discuss the upcoming Chattanooga Beer Fest, which will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025. (Hint: If you haven’t started brewing for the event, be thinking about starting soon!)

There will be a few other topics of interest, including another possible club contest.

As always, bring a brew to share if you’ve got one, or just come hang out and enjoy some great beer and even better company. New folks are always welcome!

Join The Barley Mob for our February meeting on Tuesday, February 18th, at BeCaffeinated’s Northshore location.

Time: 6:30 PM – Please be on time if you are bringing a beer to be entered in the competition.

Agenda: We’ll be judging the club’s Coffee Brew-off collaboration with BeCaffeinated/New Wave Coffee!

Location: BeCaffeinated – 14 W. Kent Street, Chattanooga, TN

Bottle Share: Since BeCaffeinated typically closes at 6 PM, our semi-private event allows us to enjoy a bottle share without licensing limitations. Feel free to bring your homebrews or any commercial beers that you’ve found impressive or interesting.

January 2025 meeting of the Barley Mob – Sigler’s Craft Beer

Join us for The Barley Mob’s January meeting on Tuesday, January 21st, at Sigler’s Craft Beer and Cigars.

We’ll be discussing the club’s Coffee Brew-off held in February and additional club activities and events.

🍻 Venue: Sigler’s Craft Beer and Cigars. Offering 20 taps, over 200 different bottles, and a fine cigar selection. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy craft beer and great company.
