Chris Arnt brews Baltic Porter with Hutton and Smith

Barley Mob President Emeritus Chris Arnt had the opportunity to brew a Baltic Porter with local brewery Hutton and Smith.
Chris’s Baltics are excellent. So are Hutton and Smith’s. How awesome is this beer going to be? We can’t wait.
2021 Membership Dues
The dues for your 2021 membership with the Barley Mob Brewers are now due. Membership costs are $30 for an individual membership and $40 for a family membership. You can pay via the Paypal link at the bottom left-had side of this page, or you can make arrangements with Mark Gregory to pay with cash, check or other negotiable assets. If you joined the club in October, November or December 2020, you are not required to pay dues, as we allow your 2020 membership to carryover. Final notice will go out at the end of February. If you don’t pay, you will be removed from the email list and be forced to drink seltzers.
Membership perks include:
- 10% discount on homebrew supplies at Beverage World
- Free shipping of entries to homebrew competitions
- Bulk grain and bulk hop buys
- Insurance at all club functions
- Bottle(s) of the English Barleywine aged in Chattanooga Whiskey Barrel
- Knowledge, knowledge and knowledge
- Other benefits I can’t think of at the moment

2018 AHA Big Brew Day
This year the Barley Mob will be hosting our American Homebrewers Association (AHA) Big Brew Day at the Brainerd Farmers Market on May 5th. Click on the image above to visit the AHA page for the event or just swing by from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We will be brewing multiple batches of beer at the Grace Episcopal Church’s Frierson Pavilion at 20 Belvoir Ave (entrances at Sunbeam Ave. off Belvoir Ave. and at Brainerd Road and Belvoir Ave.
